m3 seats

will e36 m3 seats fit in to a e30..are they a straight fit or is it to much hassle.any one here done it..any pictures of any..
yes they will fit but they are wider then E30 seats and do not share the same base/runners
you will have problems of the seat hitting the door pockets, and access to your handbreak
you will also need to modify the E36 seat runners or make a bracket so they will fit into the E30 mounting holes.
note this is for a tin top, cabs are even worse due to the additional strengthening of the inner sills.
