Hi peeps
I’ve seen a hardtop on the Bay in vinyl blue, being vinyl is it possible to strip it back to metal and paint it?????
Cheers

Not metal charlie... its fiberglass underneath.. you have to strip the vinyl... then take off all the glue.. prep it then paint it!

How much would you reckon it would cost to get it done properly?

its how you do the prep work, you can NOT use any machines or solvents as all this makes the fibreglass heat up and warp and solvents soak in and then trys to escape once paint hence the bubbling ,the labour is high to do them as it alot of old fashion man power ,zizzle oven has nothing to do with it

Probably cost in the region of about £1200-£1300 to get one done then unless someone has a lagoon green one already done
