E30 Zone

Has anyone got a photo they could post of a standard 325i sport cloth front seat. my mate reckons he has 325i sport front seats in his e30, i want to prove him wrong!

you are mistaken!! these are the ''standard'' sports seats (in houndstouth grey cloth but can be found in other colours and leather) the other types are comfort seats which do not have the upper and lower side bolsters or the extendable leg bolster found in most basic spec E30's. The sport seats generaly came in sports, 318is and M3

then there are what people call Recaros, they are a much more ''racing'' type seat with bigger side bolsters and are quite rare to see and possible came in seom later higher spec M3's but could have just been an option.

and the 325i Sport (Tech I) had houndstooth sports seats -

cheers oakey, thought i had houndstooth in my cab but turns out i had it in my sport!!

These are the Original "Recaros" seats that mrlee30 was talking about, then the ones after these are the SRD's which are even rarer than these ones.

Love these, but still on the look out for the original SRD's...
