not sure about genuine ones, but the reps if they are bk171's are 150mm in diameter and are made of plastic, they are available from bk racing direct at £15.00ea plus postage..... and i would say they are pbobably about 3mm thick.

genuine wheel (20 spokes and locking cenre cap)...

replica wheel (19 spokes and clip on centre cap)...

i bellive the only diference could be the overall diameter? i measured the place where the cover should be and is ~ 159mm

thanks alot, it seems that some peple just can't understand that not all the people are rich. i'm only 18 years old and it's kinda hard for me to put all the money in the car but i really like it, i have it for 2 and a half years and have big plans for it. it really need a paint and the front wing replaced. i can say i'm a mechanic so the mechanical part of the car is perfect, just paint, lowering springs from spax, then i can instal my megasquirt and turbo it :D

Thank you Simon.

Right........

the overall diametre of the cap is 140mm
the thickness is 11mm

the centre badge is 50mm, it's also a recessed hole as u can see from the picture from the back

the lock cap size is 26mm, it's 7mm in of the edge of the cap

the vertical lugs on the back wedge between 2 wheel nuts to stop the cap spinning
theres a rubber 135mm ring u need also - u can buy this from BMW for not alot of money, as u can the locking cap. U can buy replica centre badges (ebay.co.uk) as the real ones are £11 each here so about 17 euros?

i'd buy these parts and go from there if i was u

Hope this sheds some light Gabi!
