First thing I wanted to sort out was my aerial so I got an electric black one from Euro Car Parts for about £40 luckily it must have had a leccy aerial at some point so all I had to do was use the exiting wiring and bobs your uncle!

Next was to address the speakers which is where the budget equipment comes in so I spend a grand total of £80 on some Edge front components and some Alpine Type E Rear Coaxial speakers, not to impressed with the Alpines but the edge ones which I have never heard of before sound really good!
I’m a little apprehensive to spend good money on 13cm speakers the way I see it no matter how much you spend a 13cm speaker is never going to be great so I’m looking it to ways of fitting bigger speakers once I find the best way I’ll go for Alpine Type R’s all round.
I’m on the look out for some tweeter pods but seeing as I need a new dash because mine is cracked I just super glued the tweets to the dash board”¦”¦”¦.

Didn’t want the new rear speakers to stand out to much so used the old retro looking speaker covers on the new Alpines”¦”¦..

Next step was to sort out the bass so I went with a top quality Alpine Digital Mono Block Amp and a nice Vibe sub woofer, usually I don’t like Vibe equipment but that’s down the fact that there speakers are far to bassey but this is a good thing as far as a sub is concerned and I’m very happy with the results.
I’ve also started to knock up a boot install but its far from finished yet, it has a false floor to hide the amps and wires and it also keep the sub in place but it still needs the edges tidying up and some black carpet putting down to finish it off
All in all I’m very happy with the results I run an Alpine CDA7876RB head unit which is 4x60w and gives me enough control to set the system up for some nice jazz or funk but also allows me to crank it up and make the whole car shake when I’m in a crazy mood and wanna slap on some drum and bass!

And a cheeky pic of the whole car for good measure”¦”¦.
