how can i tell if 95 m3 will have ews

E36 3.0ltr M3s from Jan 95 will have EWS, the earlier 94 models dont. All 3.2 Evos have EWS.

Colour of the key blade too, if it has a silver blade then no EWS, if the blade is gold looking then sorry dude EWS is fitted......hope this helps.

S50B30 is ok with all the 6 cyl 5 speed ZF boxes so 323/325/328 is fine.
if you meant the EWS box, then you'll need all the EWS gubbins, the key and the ring antenna

E36 323/325 Getrag boxes are slighty smaller and lighter than the ZF box and have a different output flange for the prop IIRC, meaning the E30 M3 prop wont fit so an E36/E30 combo is needed for the conversion. I think the 328i box is the ZF, same as the M3 5spd.

thanx for all he help lads i have a e34 525 box aswell which is a bigger zf boat least i know the 325 box will fit can get the shaft sorted without too much hassle hopefully.
James did you have any problems with the engine itself what should i look out for on it
