After hours of mapping by Ant (A-Tech) on the Evolve Dyno here is the Dyno Graph of THE 2.7 Turbo with Holset HX40 Turbo:
Endurance testing is definately a big PASS as it had 26 dyno pulls and during mapping was put under extreme load by the dyno. No issues watso ever.
Here are the final results done in 4th gear:
On the road.......it's a beast!
Mr Gary Swain is one lucky mother******!

Cheers guys
This one is a very nice car to drive, power is awesome and the noise is incredible on boost, we'd better not mention fuel consumption though, part throttle is no worse than a stock 325i, on boost- well its pretty juicy

but hey, cant have it all...
Spec wise its a TD crank 2.7 lowered comp( 7.4:1), welded and mildly ported head, CatCam turbo grind, log manifold, tial 44mm Ext W/gate and the HX40 is on a 19cm housing
Boost is set to 1 bar on the spring, it will run more boost once the engine has losened up a little more, its done 1.6K miles since the build and is still tight.
Management is MS V3.0 , Wasted spark and 42# injectors.@ 87% duty cycle.
As long as Gary is happy I'm happy
BTW, Fowlers car runs more boost

1.6Bar

I´ll bet good money it would come on better with electronic boost control.
but the figures are NICE.
Again, was the boost recorded?

Going on what I could hear when I spoke to Ant while the car was on the rollers, I think he said 14/15 psi.
I've used both a internal gate and external, with and without boost control and I know for a FACT you get much better response from the turbo with some form of control other than the wastegate's own way.
Even a simple bleed valve made a huge difference, although it was to easy to wind in far too much.......but it was fun while it lasted! LOL
You should get down to Sals RR for a session, it's straight down the M1 for you, about 95 miles away from you. You're even closer than me

Nice work Ant.
Why's it redlined at 5,900 BTW? Looks like it would happily keep pulling and pulling.

that must be awesome!! tose are real good numbers, but surely the log manifold will be staring to choke it abit at that power?

As stated above, the engines only done 1600 miles or so, the plan is to have a few more before really opening it up, as it's all blueprinted anyway I would imagine it'll be good for 7 maybe 8k
Just wish I was there to witness it.
Gary must be a very very happy man
@ Rossle, got the V band mate, cheers!!! Nice bit of kit, will see what it looks like fitted in a week or two
