E30 Zone

hello zoners
well heres the story, i have a 1989 325i, the engine and gearbox are sound but the shell is rotten as a pear.

I am currently in the process of trying to find a doner car and i've come across a 1990 318i .

so my question is.. what needs to be swapped over to make this conversion work.

like i said i'm new to all this so as much advice as poss would be greatly appreciated,

Brakes: While you are swapping these over, good chance to fit new pads

Suspension: (Depends how low you want your car, get some uprated springs and shocks)

Diff: Not sure what ratio you will need, but I think you will more than likely need to swap this over too


Have you thought of any other upgrades? have you thought about a short shifter from a z3? very good ratings from what ive seen

EDIT: how much are you willing to spend on a donor?

try and get a donor with rear disk brakes aswell. less hassle for you
