whats involved and has anyone carried this conversion out?

is it a case of bolting a turbo on with the matching manifold, drill/tap oil return to the block and lower the compression of the engine with uprated head gasket?

any advice/links would be great :D

If youve got the later engine then no lowering of the comp is needed, just the oversized H/G from bmw's would be enough.. BHP depends on your setup/turbo... mine hasnt been on R/R yet but was 200bhp with 240lb ft torque with the smaller turbo i had... :D

It's difficult to compare the results we've all had from our various setups as we've all gone about it in such a different way.

For example, my setup makes 240lbft of torque, same as blingsta's, but also makes 270bhp which is quite a difference.
