GUG used a standard head gasket, so no probs there.

What's wrong with the head, as it's not exactly standard ?

The head was originally from Griffin Motorsport, and was ported and flowed (on a brand new casting) etc. It was a very nice head, and really needs to be saved if possible.

well if its been skimmed to many times it cant be saved can it? im thinkin its been skimmed to much an compression is to high for gasket can u get thicker ones? if i have to get a new head i will buy a new one an get it ported an flowed although the reciept was for 940+vat it would surely be worth it. she was going well to for my one day as she now has a full btb manifold an system :P

Get a ruler out an measure it just to make sure. OK not accuaret to parts of a millimeter but will tell you if its 120mm, 123mm etc.

Was at Ants yesterday (thanks Ant for the bank holiday time) working on the Racecar E30/Eaton M90 project and yes he has an ali decomp. plate hanging on the wall.
