will certainly fit, using an e30 crossmember from memory.

make sure it's a good box though. they aren't that strong and a lot have noisy bearings which aren't cheap to sort.

i'd use a getrag 260 from an e34/e32 530-535-730-735 without question, a far better box :D

yea the dogleg is weaker but not like it´s crap,
it´s also very cool to have a dogleg :)
I have one extra lying in my garage

will the dogleg give better speed times, cos i also have a 260 box layin around, dont really care about the dogleg, just want the better times!! I'm ruuning about 250-60hp with a 3.46 diff......

3.46 will be much too low geared for the dogleg box, i.e. about 120mph actual speed on the limiter in top (prob 110 on the speedometer).

i would use the 260, having owned several screwed doglegs.

e36 328 manual prop with an e30 centre bearing fitted backwards seems to be getting more popular.

cheaper and more readily available than e30 m3

er, what i meant was it will do 110 max but read 120 lol

low gears isn't good with this conversion, you just end up with a useless 1st gear and effectively a four speed box!
