Can or has anyone measured how much room you have for the exhaust header with a m30 when put in a e30?
This is the header im looking at, the owner doesnt know the brand but it came off a 1984 633csi, do they look familiar to anyone?

Unlikely to fit our rhd E30s so I would be surprised to see many responses on this one mate due to our even more restricted space due to steering rack.

Depends on what engine mounts you are using I suppose. If they are the same as the ones being used by one of the guys in this country then I'm sure they could measure the space you have to play with...

Im using the e30.de ones and mostly likely engine position 3 or maybe 2.5

If they were designed to fit the 6 series, they probably wont fit in an E30 (LHD or RHD) without modification anyway.

i'm not too sure on this.
there's surprisingly little room between exhaust manifold and chassis rail on an e28 and i'd guess an e24 is similar. remember on a RHD car there's a whacking great steering box in the way
having owned an m535i and a 335i at the same time i'd say working on the exhaust mani is def easier in the '3.
i had a set of alpina B10 equal length manifolds from an e34/32 which *might* have fitted if the steering shaft hadn't been so terminally in the way lol
those headers are more compact than the ones i have. they might clear the chassis rail, but as for the e30.de mounts... you'll have to trial fit them...

I doubt that would fit but it certainly looks very nice.
