Engine Transplant

Hi guys I'm after some advice my 325i engine is dying its got 198000 + miles to its 30 yr life and we have noticed that the crank is actually moving forward within the block and it's only a matter of time before she screams and dies.
I've seen the various engine conversions some are truly amazing I'm not mechanically minded so I've got to get someone to do the conversion.
Has any one used the engine from the 335i ( n54b30 ).
Looking at all options. M3 engines are going up in value and are also being sold once taken out of car. Ideally would like to hear running. Thoughts and advice is welcome and apreciated.
