M30 power - old hat

Hey all, been a whislt since I've posted here. I have an e30 fitted with a m30, well I say fitted, had loads of over heating issues with it on a track day getting air in system, over pressurising and even blew a hose off! Anyway engine got whipped out and rebuilt head with a skim, etc to ensure it was right to put it all back together and it still got air in system. After changing rad, upgrading fan to a kenlowe and hoses turns out one of the liners was split which was introducing the air.

I picked up another m30 for ease as could slot straight in but after couple of years of the project doing nothing I'm now thinking that an m30 is an old engine but yet it still makes good power, torque when turbo, the thing that puts me off slightly is the weight of the thing, she's a big old lump and somewhat upsets the balance of an e30. It just looks so right in the bay thou'
Anyway I'm now thinking m52 and from doing a lot of reading it has similar power/torque to the m30 but is a lot lighter.

Such a dilemma as I have all the m30 parts bar turbo setup :?
