E30 1989 316 Engine swap to 2.5?

having never attempted an engine swap before im just wondering what sort of costs are involved and how difficult it will be?
the mechanical side of things wont be a problem for me just after some advice or if there is a general guide posted on here anywhere a link to that would be lovely,

hi i have just brought a e30 h reg 316i and im going to put a 325i e36 in it, do u knw if the engine sits on the same mounts and postions thanks joe

have a read tis will tell you everthing that you will need to do to do your m50 swap
