dunno about that particular engine, but i know a dude in New Zealand (check out
www.bimmersport.co.nz), who fitted subra 3L straight 6 turbo (or i think twin turbo they are) into e30. engine swaps are generally difficuly, yes you can do them if you hwva a workshop wil all the tools and you can weld, etc and fit wiring looms/ etc. to pay for such conversion to be done by some workshop would be really expensive - probably several times the cost of your e30. think of what power you want to make and then try some options done before, such as m30/m50/s50 conversions or a turbo for your current engine (thats what i'm doing).

i think any mixed make conversions are blasphemy but,
I'm still a nissan enthusiast.
the rb25det is a good engine, you will have to do alot of fabrication that you wouldnt have to do with the typical m50 swap.
You would have to position the engine and gear box as one unit. The mounts will have to be custom made. Then there is the prop shaft, this will deffinately have to be a custom piece (go one piece if you can)
Wiring......good luck is all i can say. Its not hard but it will take time. You might be able to find some of the rb25det ecu wiring info on
www.phase2motortrend.com or
www.srswap.com
Oh and if you do get the rb25det...do yourself a favour and have the turbo rebuild with proper steel/inconel blades. The stock ceramic ones blow apart when boost is set to 1bar for prolonged periods of time. DO IT!
