As above really. Will it fit? Does anyone have any idea how heavy it is? Can I get a clutch to allow me to use it with the 5 speed 'box?

Spotted a used one locally for £150. I only need a flywheel, got a clutch although may need to upgrade as its from an m60b40.

Are those guys in the UK?

Not yet, I'll need to start having a look though, I have everything else I need to get the engine in now.

I have read on another forum that the E36 M3 clutch can be used, or at least the pressure plate can. Need to do more research!

Could I borrow the engine mounts for a day to see how the m60 sits in the e36

The 300mm.de mounts won't help in fitting M60 to E36...

To the topic, the flywheel bolts straight on and you should be able to use M60B30 / M62B35 clutch packet with it. Not 100% sure, though.

I know but with the sump off and the oil pump off it will give us a far better idea what needs to move and get some measurements
