The engine is all ready on the stand, just needs the tappets adjusting and the rest of the covers bolting on. Then on saturday morning its going in the car. Then abit of welding on the rear arches then its ready to be rolling road tuned then mot'd and taxed!

What are you going to use for air filters as i am not going to use these any more, they are brand new ?

Not the best type of filter but they might get you going ?

:woohoo: The engine is in !

The filters are about 60mm internally, 100mm externally and 110mm long.

They just slide over the trumpet and are fastened with a cable tie, they are like K+N filters in that they need oiling and cleaning in a similar way.

I think i paid 35-40 (?) quid for them so how does 20 quid sound ?

I can bring them to Donington if you want ?

I was wondering what happened to this!! Very cool

Nice one!! About the same as mine.

I got a 4into1 manifold from Jaymic which is good apart from the pipe from number 1 cylinder stops you being able to get to the spark plugs
Fritz bits do a nice Manifold though.....

I made the exhaust up myself using 2.5" pipe from Jetex. There website is good http://www.jetex.co.uk as you can choose what you need.

You can't beat the sound of a 4 pot at 8000rpm on sidedraughts winkeye . Good luck

Regards

Mark
