Glenn, Great to meet you finally!

Also, I am pleased my old project car will live on, although a fair few stages further on than I'd have gone.. Can I have a go when it's done? :D

Paul.

is that Simons old car??

Glenn, I guess you have already spoken to our friend in Germany winkeye

Shame the V8 had to go. Is the current owner going to take it on a dyno? I am dying to see a Graph.

Hmm.. this ought to get interesting :)

Two questions;
-Are you going to use original engine management?
-Gearbox, isn't the 6-speed E9x 6cyl gearbox bolt-on?

hello uwe,
yes, i've spoken to him, i actually caught him at the airport waiting to come home! lol.
simon??
i'm not sure what the new owners plans are for the car, but i think he's putting it on a 1/4 mile strip on the weekend.

yes, i'm using the original ecu.
i'm not sure if the 6 cyl cars have the same bolt pattern, so i have bought a 6 speed manual off the m3 v8
i'm picking up the engine and gearbox from fab's tomorrow 8)

hello dan, pm on its way
