There are a couple of supra motors floating about.

Do a search and you will find :D

what actual Supra is the engine out of as the first Supra to have turbo was the MK3. It was only the import versions which were twin turbo and there are a couple of different engines which were twin turbo.

OK the engine will be the 1JZ-GTE, also found in Soarers and Chasers.

There is a member on here with a ballistic 2JZ lump in his E30 with over 600bhp, but I don't believe his thread about the build goes into much detail as to what mods were needed to sump etc .

Getting the engine in will undoubtedly be the easy bit, getting it to run will be where the problems are. Is the supra manual or auto? Manuals are rare.

its deffinatly a manual.ill have to have a look for his thread see what it says.the only pluss thing is it is a hole running car so everything needed would be there but i deffinatly agree with you puttin the engine in will deffinatly be the easy part.

there was a company out in Japan or Thailand that was doing mounts etc but I'm sure someone bought some of this stuff and it was like scrap

The 1JZ engine is the performance bargain at the moment, with immense tuning potential and a bullet proof gearbox which allows for a lot of fun, + with toyota reliability.

Just to support this, the both driftworks factory cars use the 1jz or 2jz lumps

If i wasn't neck deep in another engine conversion this is the way i would go.

IMO a waste of time in a cab tho.
