Wiring aside you do know you will have to swap the sump for an e34 item and work out how to get rid of the water pipe at the back of the head,im sure mounts are different too.

on a plus side you will have the right flywheel for the swap.

It's easier to get the loom ecu and hanress from an e34 less wiring mod's check the sticky on m30 swaps.

should it be going spare for any reason, i'd be interested in the oil filter housing / oil cooler etc. winkeye that's one thing the E32/E34 M30 doesn't have :(

e34 head has a blank plate over the water outlet so it is easy to sort the water pipe

M535i/535i diffs are large case 3.07:1 units. All the M535i ones are LSD's as well.

Can this diff be used in the E30 by swaping the back plate?
