take lots of pictures and put any problems on here it is very handy to anyone else who is building one , i found lots of info on here , good luck with the project

from what i can remember all of the positives go to the main battery clamp (blue), except the power for the ecu. that goes on the smaller isolated terminal (red).

as above is correct , make sure you earth the black wire (number 4 ) the best place is on the front suspension turret or bonnet closing bracket , otherwise the car will not fire

that would be fine , i attached mine to the bonnet close bracket , because it was easier but that is a better position

Peel back some of the black insulation on 'wire number 4', you may well find its red underneath and therefore its live - you dont really want to attach that to an earth point.

In the first pic on the left theres two engine hoists, most people have to hire one when they do a engine swop or borrow one from work and youve got two! :lol:

This is the conector of the car, with all the original pins become with the car

Can I cut this positive wire from the insulated?

I retired the insultated and the wires are brown, I'm supose are ground.

What I do with this plugs? Cut the wires?

This ground wire is necessary? Is original from S14 engine, and was bolted on screw where is now the black wire.

You should have a ground wire from the cam cover to the back of the head

Now I still done the connections from the e36 plugs to the e30 plugs, but the rest of pins, appears in the pic, of the e36 they not used

maybe seized up, doesn't sound good. can you spin engine by hand?

When I change the bearing rods I can spin the engine by hand.

Today I try to spin it another time
