E30 Zone

Quick question. Does anyone know if a hartge strut brace will clear an m50 in a converted e30?

Think I've seen a pic of a single tube one struting an M50 succesfuly.

what engine mounting are u using ?
i'm facing the same problem but i think by using m20 engine mounting should be no problem.
or u just need to wrap the wiring & hang on the m20 325i bracket...

the m50 wiring box just blocking ... sigh

the sparco M3 single tube ones fit fine.

Using M20 mounts may have you changing them often

I was going to use the e28 m5 mounts & e36 brackets with an e34 vanos lump...

Cheers for the advice so far, I think it won't be a problem but would be nice to know it'll fit, in advance..

i have a single tube sparco strut brace on my m50 conversion fits nicely with the wiring tidy from a m40, im using e28 engine mounts

hmm maybe the spacco may be the answer, the wiring tidy will be a consideration as hartge brace does interfere with this. Plenum height & plastic covers won't be an issue with the single tuber I guess..
