hey
i have had the i dea to put a 300zx twin turbo engine into my e30!
now my question is will it fit and will i have to do much modifications well obivously i will but si der any links. i want to drive the car on the road to look like a normal 325i so it this possible?

anything is possible but i dont think it would be easy

s70 = 48v 6.1 v12 on throttle bodies

Power (SAE net) 618 bhp @ 7400 rpm
Torque (SAE net) 479 ft-lb @ 4000 rpm
Redline 7500 rpm


will that go in an e30 winkeye

possibly but i doubt the diff hanger would survive long. :o

that v12 should fit, as the engine bay is designed for a straight 6 and people have fitted v8s so V engines fit. Just a small question of getting hold of one lol. winx may have a few at work :D .

Imadgine the Traffic light GP suprises with that espace!!! People would just think it was just a horrible barryboy mobile with all show no go.

i reckon you should put a chevvy small block in it with twin turbo you can do it for less than swapping a that old jap engine in it

Actually V12 is quite a lot easier to fit in E30 than V8 because the V-angle is 90deg in V8 and 60deg in V12 so the V12, even though longer (but not much actually) is quite a lot narrower than V8..

Anyways, everything is possible, it's usually only question of money and time..
