Hi guys

I'm wondering if any of you guys can tell me if this crank is a later TU one or an earlier non TU??

Here's a few pics

I'd be most grateful if anyone can shed some light on this

Where's Ian T when you need him??
Cheers

Dave

Looks like a TU crank to me mate.

2 things that identify it, the blue hue to the casting and the smaller counterweight with a machined flange at the flywheel end (top picture). Also the NC38 is only on the TU cranks from memory.

Cheers,

What are the differences why you would prefer one of both? Is it only a weight difference? Or are there bigger changes?

Something about the crank hitting the piston skirts when using 130mm rods
