Two reasonably competant people, proper tools and a ramp.

Hour and a half?

Myself and my brother just took an engine out of a 200SX in those circumstances in that time, was wondering if a 325 engine out of an E30 would be approx. the same?

And how about just one person doing it on your drive?

:)

If you don´t fortget to unhook anything an 1.5 hours sounds pretty reasonable,
but if the engine has never come out and you don´t have any power tools, I would assume more time as some stuff just never wants to get loose,
With great challenges comes great engineering.

about 1.5 is right. A mate and I can do it in about that time.. start to finish with box (takes a bit longer but still under 2 hours!)

I've been quoted 8 hours for a complete 325 to 335 swap, so i'd agree with the 1.5 hours.
