HELP! E30 2LTR TO 2.5 CONVERSION PROBS.

HELP NEEDED A.S.A.P---E30 2LTR TO A 2.5 SWOP--SWOPPED ENGINE BUT THE UNIT SITS ABOUT 1 to 1half inches FURTHER BACK DOES HUBBY NEED THE 2.5 PROPSHAFT ,IF NOT HOW DO YOU GET ROUND THE PROBLEM,THE GEARBOX IS SAT UP AT THE REAR MAKING ME THINK THE PROPSHAFT IS TO LONG . PLEASE HELP CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT MY CAR ON ROAD [/b]

I take it you've swapped the gearbox as well ?
If you have then yes you need the 2.5 propshaft, have a look at the output flange on the gearbox thats the problem.
If you're desperate and can't get a prop you can always use the 2.0 gearbox.

You still need to swap the diff as well, whichever gearbox you use.
