im just wondering what engine conversions people have done on their e30's and what is the most popular or unique.i dont mean future plans or dreamers ,but what you have had fitted and are running around in or in the process of building now?
3.0ltr S50 (E36 M3) into my 325i Sport.
Would be up and running now if it wasnt for my misfortune with the exhaust manifolds
Have had it running for a short time without the manifolds fitted, was bloody loud, but atleast it works.

Does my twin turbo and throttle bodies count as a conversion?
Unless theres some rare model hidden away that BMW never released Id say thats a conversion and I think it covers the unique bit of Fuzzys post as wellTurbo-Brown wrote:Does my twin turbo and throttle bodies count as a conversion?

Well I'm not as adventurous as Alex but I do have a resonable single on now and there isn't much of the original engine left, so I'd hope mine would be considered?
And on that same line there's Ants turbo, Lennies SC, Johns turbo, Deans turbo, a few m30/m50/m52's and of course the 350i!!
It seems there are many conversions around now, I remember back to when GUG and Ian's evo engined e30 were as modified as e30's got!!

Ive seen a one or two tourings on there with the S38 engine, but not sure about the S50.
EDIT - Thinking about it, I do remember a silver touring on there with the 3.0ltr S50, but not a 3.2 Evo.
