There's a chance i can get hold of a turbo/manifold from an E30 324 td. Are these of any use to anyone wanting to turbo their m20, or are they deisel specific? (i know NOTHING about fi)

I think they bolt on but the flange between the manifold and turbo are wierd. I can't remember exactly.

Can you get the crankshaft too, they are sought after.

The flange is ok on these, its a generic T3

There is like the one i have on mine off a 325td or obviously a 525td.

yeh the manifolds are horrible cast log manifolds. the forged crank inside the m21 engine will handle 700bhp! with a big enough turbo :D

i have tryed to get 1 of these cranks for a couple of weeks. i had to buy a complete 524td to get it! these cranks go for a lot nowadays!

only if it is a very early export. south african etc. otherwise i beleive they was 16v??? not sure :roll:
