roughly speaking, how much should the timing be retarded on boost?

what injectors do you recomend?
at least 440cc injectors.dirtydog100 wrote:what injectors do you recomend?
It´s got nothing to do with boost but airflow , and since airflow is different between various turbos at the same boost it´s not possible to say.dirtydog100 wrote:roughly speaking, how much should the timing be retarded on boost?

oh right ok, where is the best place to find those injectors?can i get them from a different car?
only reason i asked about the timing is because a mate of mine reckons he can build me a chip that will retard the timing by say 6 degrees to allow for boost. bit crude i guess but would it work?

Get a piggyback to do it and you can have control over timing depending on boost.dirtydog100 wrote:oh right ok, where is the best place to find those injectors?can i get them from a different car?

EDIT.
42lb injectors can be had from V8 mustangs and other Fords.

42lbs/hr also lurk in rover 620 and 820 turbo's and MG ZT-T iirc ( mustang V8 )
chip to suit a turbo is possible but how do you propose getting the motronic to "see" the boost ? retarding timing beyond peak N/A torque will net you a result but this is a critical area and not one where £££ can be saved I'm afraid dude.
