thanks m8 but have checked that might give it a clean tomorrow to make shore....
is there any thing other then the fuse and relay under the bonnet and starter that could stop them from working i had the clocks out too had change a bulb but checked and cant see any wires loose

well brian i have rechecked fuse and relays all good.....took the green/black wire off starter and earth it and the blower and mirror's work what should i do now thanks

got it working m8 i put an earth from the green/black to the inlet and its working 100% now thanks for all the help :)

Green/black shouldn't be earthed! It needs to go to the smallest terminal on the starter motor, and then all should work as intended. If it doesn't, you need to find out why!

well m8 i have it on the small one but it not work but when i put an earth wire to it when its on the small one it works any idea on what it could be thanks

The fact that things work when you earth it proves that the problem is right at the starter motor. Make a temopry connection to the large inner terminal on the solenoid (the one that has a link or lead into the starter motor body.)

ahh got it so keep the black/green on the normal place and have a wire coming from the link terminal to the black/green i will do that first thing tomorrow then.....since thats just going be temporary id prob be best to get the starter recon ?

The smallest terminal and the large inner terminal on the solenoid are usually connected directly together by an external metal link. The theory that I'm trying to prove is that this link is not making contact at one end or the other, either because of corrosion and/or a loose nut.

well brian i done what ya said and all is working i also had a look at the wee plate that connect them and it looks like it has alot off corrosion on it i going see if i can clean the contact's on the plate and see if it sorts it thanks for all your help :thumb:

the pic's are from the first night i took it in after the conversion just before we went to the weekly meet.....had some amount off people over looking about it at the meet had turned out my m8's told every one they met about what i was doing lol

they didnt be leave that i done it and didnt spend a day in college
