Hello guys..am new here, have been wanting to post my car for some time now but i guess it will spark up some controversy..well,talk no more, here's my car's details:
1990 e30 m3 sport evolution # 545:
Exterior:
-Brilliantrot
-It has all the sport evo body parts xcept for the front splitter
Interior:
-Black leather interior & everything else is the same as other sport evos
-The ori suede mtech was retrim by previous owner to normal black leather

, but i managed to get another one
Engine & Drivetrain:
-S52B32 (ouch??)
-5 Speed manual
Wheels:
-Hartge 17" 3-piece
A little history on the car:
The car was brought in from UK into Malaysia in 1995 by a japanese guy whom revved the car "too much" that resulted with a blown s14, with the s14 being expensive to rebuilt in '96/7 in Malaysia, he decided to put in the s52 and the s14 was send back to japan with him(@$#$#)...
I bought the car back in '06 wanting to restore it to its former glory but it is hard to find a 2.5L s14 anywhere near asia...
For the past 2 years i've been searching through europe and asia(especially japan) for the 2.5 s14 but wasnt lucky i guess...everything else is still intact xcept for the engine+drivetrain+front splitter..
well, here's some pics of the m3:

Now that car gets me all happy in the pants department!!!
It is SERIOUSLY nice! I LOVE brilliant red. I LOVE S50B32's and I LOVE M3's!!!! I'm also quite partial to those seats!
Don't worry about the BMW purist brigade. They can go polish their perfectly lovely, perfectly standard 316's for all I care. Your car is shweeeeet.
Just to put my ten pence worth in (and why not?) I would personally change the rear lights. I'd also add the Evo splitter. I'd get some nice black carpets. I think, maybe, possibly, I'd go for a really motorsport type wheels too.. Perhaps a dark grey compomotive wheel, or some really trick magnesium wheels. You could always get a set of refurbed BBS 16" ones to put in the garage and never use if you feel guilty

.
Seriously. Do what you like to it, just bear in mind it's DAMN nice as it is.

Also, maybe my eyes are wrong, but some suede should be added (steering wheel, gearknob/boot, handbrake cover/boot)

some BBS 16" would make the car look better or some BBS 17" Style 5's..

hehe, that's true..the original mtech suede wheel was retrim b'cos the suede has worn off..but i've managed to get hold of another suede wheel..the other parts in suede have mostly worned off and will be looking at a retrim..

Both lovely looking cars, you're very lucky to own both.
(and if YOU'RE happy with the S52, leave it there, it's your car.)

Don't worry Paul, so do I to be honest mate...
No disrespect in any way to the M3, but the Hartge just looks so much more useable.

lol, i actually do prefer to drive the normal e30 as my daily driver as its easier to drive here(RHD)...the lights has changed to standard ones currently, the tint was too dark on those i think..

thanxs!...the daily driver is giving me a bit of a prob as the driveshaft is near to its end & it's making the car vibrate at low revs
