my new toy

due to the rusty demise of the road whore mk1, i have had to aquire another.

so with many thanks to spadge
ive laid my grubby little mits on this beauty

its a 316, 1800 m10 with twin choke webber carb.
sports interior
glass sunroof
a boot ful of servicing bits
no rust
105k on the clock
history as big as my wifes ass

just need to chuck a bucket of water overher and fit my koni adjustables

Shame - i would of raped it of panels :lol: - the new weapon looks fine, still got the Baur doors here with the electric windows + motors intact if you ever fanced converting yours.

capri_rob: i swapped the dirty diesel powered nightmare e30 and £200, to be honest i'de have swapeed the diesel for a fart=in-a-can i was that pissed off with it

nelly: still got rw1 saton the other side of camp to get a few bits off only doing the drivers side to leccy, maybe.......

I would never have one fitted to a car but I wouldnt let it put me off buying a car just because it had one - you get used to it!

Where have they mounted the choke cable inside the car ?

it was on the cardy bit under the steering column, yes it is broke now.
i've jut moved it to the spare slot above the cd player

jobs done so far:
tech 1 wheel is fitted
choke moved to dash oard, instead of the under dash pannel
cd/mp3 head unit and amp/subs wire in and thumping away like a guddun!

still to do
koni's to be fitted
wheels to be changed
service
fit my rear pop-outs

most of this will be done on sunday......YAY!

update on the whore:
dropped 40mm on some jamex springs (don't laugh they're only a temp drop)
koni adjustable shocks f&r
and some nice wheels pinia "ish" stylee :cool:

will put up so pics tomorrow

hoping to:
fit a set of twin 45's or bike carbs.
fit a tubular 4-into-1 mannifold and a nice sounding backbox
uprate the brakes to vented discs up front.
fit z3 shifter and refurb the gear linkage
rear pop outs
change all of the bushes and mounts
