Lovely mate-very pretty
must say your engine bay is astonishingly clean-do you fancy doing mine?!
Hope you're happy with it and it likes you too
wheels show off the brakes well too
just one thing..maybe go for all red rear lights?! (this is just my opinion

)
Keep up the good work

Thanks for comments guys - i thought the rear lights would get a bit of criticism but I may be changing them soon anyway - on 2nd set now and still letting in water. Engine bay is that clean cos I just put a new lump in -discovered old one had a cracked block after spending Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£'s thinking it was head gasket/cracked head. So gave it a good t-cut & polish while engine was out.

The water leak could be that the lamp casing isnt quite the right shape to clamp tightly to the body to seal it? You could try taking them out and running a bead of clear sillicon around the aperture and putting them back in?

Very nice motor mate. again not keen on the grill and rear lights but the car looks amazin. the engine bay is sexy as.
As for the water leak, if its water leaking into boot try changing the rebber gasket on rear of lights, but if its lights stteamng up i think another zoner tried a set of these light and set they were poor quality and steamed up.

I thought about re-sealing them myself but why should I - if you buy a brand new set of lights you don't expect them to leak at the first sign of a wee bit of rain. Well a lot of rain actually - I do live in Scotland after all. Still, they shouldn't leak. There, rant over.

send them back then mate. as you say you payed for a new fully functional set of lights.

Think I will send them back. Have seen a set of clear rears Think they are made by MHW. Or if any body knows of any other styles anywhere? Don't want all red or smoked ones and I don't want to have to go back to standard ones.

Just painted water hoses with red hammerite spray as a trial to see if it would stay on - starting to crack and peel so will have to use the proper stuff now. Another wee job to add to the ongoing list - there's always something .

sweet motor m8 am of the same opinion as most bout the rear lights better off on a saxo or the like but i think youve just solved my problem of how to get the bass into the car (runs around looking for a air saw

) but seriously mate have you made a panel for the sub that is fixed to the back of the seat a picci from the back end with boot open would be appreciated

Hope this helps.
All I did was cut a hole in the boot trim behind the back seat & drilled out the spot welds in the metal panel behind the armrest. The sub is screwed on to the metal panel at the sides but i had to fit 2 small straps of wood top & bottom for additional fixings. You can see the top strap of wood in the picture taken of the back seat. The fabric attached to the back of the arm rest hides this .
thanks

Hi m8, I don't have any pics of the track car yet (maybe do some at the weekend) Spec is as follows - FSE Boost valve, K&N 57i with custom heat shield, Custom side exit stainless exhausts, Bilstein sport shocks, Apex 60mm lowering springs, Custom rear brace, Stripped out interior, Sport front seats, Z3 short shifter, 15" 5 spokes with Colway Formula 2 semi slicks (dry), 15" BBS Xspokes with road tyres (wet), Perspex rear screen (still side windows to do) & a tripod fixed in the rear for my video camera.
Can't wait till Sat 11th June Knockhill. WoooooooHooooooooo
Haven't been to a track day this year yet .
Was all set 2 go last month - fell out with the misses the day before - went out in my car for a blast to cool off - came back home an hour later and she'd stole my A-Frame & and one of my wheels with a slick on it , loaded them into the boot of her car & buggered off to paisley with one of her mates. So that was me f*cked.

She always does! She certainly got me that time. I'm better prepared now - all my stuff is safely locked in the track car and keys are well hidden.
I'm sure plenty guys can relate. Women - don't you just luv em.

It's a custom stainless steel box made from scratch by a mate of mine who is a partner in a stainless exhaust company.
