My £50 325i, (oh + £350 for kit!!!)

It had a red door, and a unpainted pattern o/s wing when I got it and a beyond repair engine, I sourced an engine from a E34 525i. no cost, bought a door (colour match is perfect) and bought the kit!

I'm well impressed, just waiting on a wing to be delivered, and should be done for now!!!!

Hope these come out, never done this before!

I'm happy for now, engine sounds a bit to tappy at the moment, might make some adjustments tomorrow.

Notice the front bumper is not M Tech 2??? had some trouble fitting it, I think it was twisted, so got the original bumper with M Tech 2 skirt, hope its not too noticable for now!

Leather seats are a bit worn, but other than that I'm happy..

BTW are the M tech steering wheels smaller than the standard 3 spokes?? because my standard one seems massive and feels odd!!!!

Thanks
Wilson

Guy I bought it off, (mate of mine) was gonna scrap it... must admit it did look a little worse for wear... I nearly didn't buy it, I'd had enough of messing about with cars and spending money on them after I spent 7-8k on my old S1 RS Turbo, and then sold it for 2k!!!!

But I did and saved it from the scrappy... I cant believe how well the paint has come up with a few polishes, but there is still some tree sap dotted about on the car, slowly getting it all off... was parked under a tree for 6 months!!!!

Thanks for your comments

50 quid 8O

Well done :thumb:

The normal bumper was noticeable (to me anyway) but I prefer the standard bumpers painted rather than the M Tech ones anyway....something unique :)

I'm actually about 500yds south of the border but firmly in the Norfolk'n'good camp when it comes to football. Thanks in advance for the six points you'll be giving us next season, they'll come in handy in our return to the Premiership. Look forward to lots of similar banter at any future local meets. Joe. :D

Wilson - bargain doesn't seem to be appropriate here, more of a giveaway!

I thought I had done well getting mine for Ԛ£500 from a mate. I'm a regular visitor to Norwich, got a house in a village called Banham near Diss, so may give you a shout when i'm next in the area

What are the alloys on your car, are they MIMs?

I used to work in Banham. The B1113 back road to Norwich is a beauty. Bit of a strange place for a holiday home?

Joe - bought the house in Banham to live there and then moved back to York a year later because of work, so have been renting it out since. Will be living back there in another 18 months or so. You must mean the road that goes through to Mulbarton etc?

My Bro lives in Attleborough. I used to have a nice little record that he hasn't managed to break yet, Thickthorn Services to the Attleborough turn off on the A11 - 4 1/2 Minutes! in my Alfa 164 V6 - 140mph all the way officer! 8O

JoeP, LOL..... OK, we're are currently losing our key players..... Looking forward to walking all over the canaries next season!!!!

E30beemerlad, believe it or not the wheels are actually different... two of them are mims, dont know what the other two are!!!!

Not too sure if they suite the car now it has the kit on, think 16's might look better, any opinions???

Wilson,

were you parked outside Wilko's in Felixstowe over the bank holiday weekend?

If not, then there is an idenitical e30 in the area too, same wheels too!

Yeah, I was there a few times over the weekend.... very likely it was me, I used to live in Felixstowe and all my mates and family are there!

Then I'm not losing it then....

I'm based in Fxto still, noticed your ride as I drove passed...... not that many e30's in my part of the world....

We'll need to organise a mini meet soon then, I'm rather local, Jhonno, Dale and Ryan live local too (Colchester). Dale's nearly there with his 2.7 NOS'd monster so would be a laugh for sure........

I'll have to pop round one evening and have a lookie at your new toy then, any excuse to talk about cars!!

Mark.
