Well I couldn´t stand it any more having no car in this country so I decided on buying a e30..

Car in question is a 325i 4door, zinnobar red.
I´ve since fitted 318is interior, center console and so on, is lip,
need some spacers for the wheels to push them out a bit.

Before I sell it in about 3years time here is the replacement list of parts that I will go through,
Car:
respray and rust removal as per all e30´s these days.

Suspension:
All bushings replaced
KW coilovers most probably variant1 will work fine for me
IE or H&R roll bars.

Drivertrain:
LSD (I´m thinking the OBX on ebay, just to try it out)
3,25 diff
rebuild transmission
lightened flywheel
450lbs+ torque clutch setup

Interior:
Nothing apart from MP3 cd player and some simple speakers.

Engine :
2.7 conversion, fully rebuild balanced and blueprinted
pistons, rods,
MLS gasket
ARP bolts
TCD exhaust manifold
T4 TCD turbo
Poly motor bushings.
60lbs injectors
final goal 400-450whp should get there at 20-25psi
(200whp by end of spring with turbo)
All controlled by VEMS.

Plan is to build the car so that when looked at it will look like it is now,
but when the throttle is opened it turns into a WEAPON.

Luxury?
Sure electric windows and rears as well, electric sunroof.
remote central locking

Car should be ready by end of spring 2009.
More info to follow as they progress

I´m in the DE22 postcode.
yes same color.

I´ll have all the insurance lowering bits installed.
I´m also 28years old with no claims ever.
Just waiting for my insurance company to transfer them over here.

Mines got scratches you wouldn´t believe,.
and so does the whole car actually.

I need to select the cam as well as possible as I want maximum drivebility.
I´ll rather up the boost up high to combat the engine going of cam.

Head will probably be ported as well.

Out of curiosity, are you getting this work done in Derby or you going out of town?

Update.

Screw the 2.7 plans.
I´m keeping it 2.5 turbo , then MLS,ARP, clutch and so on,
should run fairly nicely at 6psi with a GT35 compressor setup

suspension wise, with all that power and boost it will probably need some help in the stability department :)

I am contemplating what KW stuff to get.
not sure I should go coilovers over 60/40 drop and shocks.
as well as bushings wise but there is time to test out the original first and then see.
It´s already got some g-suspension or something, nothing to rage about

Well my turbo kit is in customs now,
http://www.turbochargingdynamics.com/pr ... tage_2.php

It´s going to be a top mount T4 60-1 compressor.
should be able to put out 400whp when the engine can handle it.
for now it´ll be running 6psi.

Pics to come soon-ish

The VEMS adapter is almost finished.
Haven´t been able to work in it recently.

Installed the intercooler today.
the outlets are "3 but I´m getting "2.5 reducers 90° bends soon and that will allow the charge pipes to come under
the high beams.

I need to move the oil cooler a bit.
and get the black oil cooler cover.

air con valance would look better than all of that cutting on the standard valance, just my 2p, I like the updates though

I don´t mind the cutting and when the oil cooler cover is on it´ll be fine.
But I get your point.

The vems adapter almost done.

Pics of it 95% done

When tested and a few made they will be made for sale.
It needs a tad bit more tidying up.

This adapter allows for within 30min reversal to original wiring.
