New E30 owner

I've been trying to buy a BM for a while now. Always liked them, but could never bring myself to sell my drift spec Nissan 200SX. Its a shame to sell the S13, but I need something that runs on regular petrol, and does slightly more than 20mpg. Also, as I'm moving to Spain or Italy in the New Year, I need something that I can easily get parts for, so european seemed the obvious choice.

Anyway, after going to see a few E36 saloons, E34 525's, and even an E38 728, I saw this locally going cheap on ebay. Went to see it, bid and an hour later it was mine :D

Its a 1990 E30 318iS, 117k, no tax or test, but looks like it should go striaght through (fingers crossed). But for the price I cant see how I can do badly out if it :D

Anyway, some pics.

And the all important toolkit, albeit missing the screwdriver :(

What do you reckon? What do the "zoners" reckon I should have paid? Like I said, I think I did well, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow when it goes for its MOT :)

As for my plans for it, get it sitting slightly lower, wide & dished 15's and possiblyan LSD. SO if anyone has any of those for sale, let me know ;)
Cheers,
Ed

No T&T I wouldn't pay any more than £500.

Sweet, glad I only paid £310 for it :)

Looked up an MOT checklist last night on google, and had a peek at the areas etc. At some point in the past someone ran the pads right down and scored the discs a touch, and the exhaust has adodgy joint between the mid section and rear box.

But see what the MOT tester says.

£310, bargain! Looks straight and pretty clean.

Assuming MOT isn't costly, should have a nice cheap car 8)
