Right as per my post in BMW Chat here are a few pictures of the work done so far...

Blacked out grill, tinted indicators, german plates and surrounds, eyebrows...

Image

Back is still pretty much standard bar the rear lights (These will be replaced with Smoked MHW ones once I've got the funds...

Image

Replacement passager door as mine is rotton, I also de-locked it

Image

One front wing that I've filled the repeater hole

Image

I smoothed the lip off the petrol cap the other day, I does sit flush but the locking mech is stuck atm

Image

One of my home made smoked Headlights, I've completed both Smileys, just waiting for the crosshairs now which my mate is doing as we speak!

Image

No other pictures as the rest looks gay lol.

Interior wise it's got sport front seats and electric everything...Not worth a picture,

As you may have guessed I'm going for the smooth euro look on this.

More pictures will follow once the weather clears up so I can crack on with other bits!

Yeah no problem mate,

Thanks chaps it's getting there very slowly, I'll be smoothing over the ariel tomorrow if the weather is on my side.

O and in regards to removing the rear wiper, I've been meaning to get a blank to sit in that hole lol. I just think it looks smoother... Simple things lol

I'll be de-locking the drivers door aswell soon, lucky for me untill I fit the remote central locking the boot lock will open all the doors for now,

I've desided not to shave the rear handles now as I've not got the skills, it's right on the 'kink' that flows down the side and imo its not worth the hassle.

And the rear wiper... I've answered above lol.

And thanks dude, all it takes is time and I've plenty of that!

I'm not to sure tbh mate,

I'm sure it cant be that bad, I guess it narrow's down to where ever you take it.

Small update...

Removed and Smoothed the ariel,

Tomorrow's jobs involve moving the washer jets and filling the holes in the bonnet and if my mate gets the chance tonight to weld plates over the badges then I'll flush them tomorrow,

Pictures to follow.

P.S

I hate working on my car out the front, everyone stopping to chat to me! Grrrr I just want to crack on with it! :x

A quick v-mod of how I want the back to look,

But will have a tech II rear bumper and tinted rear window,

Not the best due to a paint effort...

what exactly you done to the headlights there???? i know the smoked hellas your talking about but what have you done there to get that effect and how did yer do it? does it still project a beam??

Indicators just on the front will fail, needs side repeaters too, only way to get round it(only way i know anyhow) if you dont want them on bodywork,is to use side mirrors that have indicators built in,they will pass :)
I guess it narrow's down to where ever you take it.
shouldnt matter where you take it,will be same evrywhere,if it isnt then the mot place isnt doing its job!!

Good idea about getting mirrors with ones in,

I've still not made a choice on wht mirrors I want yet but they'll have to have the repeaters in (Or I'll just use double sided tape when the mot comes around)

As stated my bro-in-law can hook me up

Lovely looking car to get started on mate. Like the plans you got in store for it too. Sorry to hear about your rad hose going. Whats all that about?!?! Was it corroded or something?

Cheers mate,

Well I replaced the hose and didnt bleed the cooling system through properly, just dropped my mate off at the train station looked down and noticed the temp gauge in the red, I wacked the heaters on but they were blowing cool air, but I was nearly home so I just floored it and got as far as I could lol. Parked in Argos carpark and strolled home,

I'm grabbing a hose this afternoon from my mate who breaks these (£2 lol) so it'll all be back on the road this evening, shame I'll have to clean it again as dirty rad water is all over the windsrceen/bonnet/bumper/wing etc lol.

Ahwell at least its an easy fix.

Very small update,

Fitted my standard gearknob with 'M' insert lol.

As per another post,

I couldnt deside on what mirrors for my Touring, So I'm making my own winkeye

Will mostly consist of chopping the standard mirrors in half getting some smaller custom cut glass for them and bingo winkeye

mine failed the mot last year because id fitted new front wings but bought the ones that dont come with the holes by mistake.i was planning to fit them at a later date as all the wiring was behind the wing.mot man told me cars registered after a certain year (cant remember what year though) had to have side indicators fitted. i thought it would be a case of if they are fitted they need to work.

Ahwell I'll deal with that when the time comes,

More important things to be doing atm,

Upon closer inpection of my engine I've cooked the head gasket :x so I'll be whipping it off to find out if the head has cracked or not and if I'm lucky I'll just do the gasket, if I'm not so lucky I'll lob in a m50.

There german style plates mate,

Never been stopped yet, also I carry my standard set in the boot.

White325is,

Looks so much smooth once done.

I'm hoping I will get away with just replacing the hose and giving the coolant a good flush through but we shall see.
