My first car. Update 23/10 Pg.7

Got to look at the car today for the first time!
The shell is sound! It has a few bits of surface rust here there and everywhere. Will be going full respray which my dad will do (hopefully!) With the use of someones workshop. I went over it with a fine toothcone today rear arches, inner arches, under boot carpet! No rot to be found in the usual places. It has not sunroof too, which is a bonus. Some bollock sack has cut the rear piece for bigger speakers!!!! I think a rear strut brace should help with that?? The car has red lowering springs, H&R?? Also red shocks?? Needs new interior which should be on way soon. Going to get a tech 2 wheel, bit of I.C.E, then onto paint work. iS lip and SE sideskirts will be on there then full respray. Will do change lights, grill etc. Then move onto suspension. Need some 15" BBS they are only 14's
The colour is absolutely lovely!

good base to start from max.nice colour to. red springs could also be spax or gmax iirc. i hope youve got a decent job to pay for all your plans max? dont be tempted to rush it just so you can drive it as soon as you pass your test.

Yes I have heard of NWA.
Need a new lock on passanger side, someones been at it with a screw driver
My dad will be doing the respray so won't cost anything really. Plus got some money left over from the budget for a car

Good luck to you Maxfield, its a much better car than I had for my first car. Can I add a word of caution, my username used to be Cotty180 the reason was that I spun my 316 the second night I owned it.

I know from another thread.
It will get treated with respect. I think I need a lesson in 'car control'
