Yep the colour is Maruritus Blue. The original colour was Maruritus Blue, but the body needed some attention. Few rusty places here and there, but nothing major. I want to keep the car as original as i possibly can. the car was painted by a guy called DON, in Harlow, Essex.
Need to sort out the Interior next. Thinking of giving it to B-Trim in london. They do some quality work.
Check out some of there work. Check out the E30 they done
http://www.b-trim.co.uk/Classic.htm
I think i`v missed a few pictures out, so ill post them up when i get home tonight.
Looking for a new Blue hood. PM me if some one has one. Thanks.

Mate if you decide to, you may be better off if you restrict the retrim to the seats only if thats possibe, as its very hard to replicate the BMW Motorsport leather doorcards & centre console not to mention the leather clad door handles, with the interior in your car being Lotus white its understandible if these items are not quite brand new looking, but conollising these items instead would give a more authentic factory look....
lovely paint job by the way

Hi e30 centre top guys , had my car with electric hood issues took it to bmw twice paid over 700 pounds problem kept coming back took it to Darleston, the arm on the motor was bent , Jason got a new one put my one in the vice and bent it back to the same shape as the new one , lubricated everything (as this was causing the bent arm ) everything worked charged £40 been fine for the last 3 years.
by the way can you let me have telephone number of the guy that did the respray , seems to know his stuff thinking of getting a project going.
thanks

Well Done mate, its a credit to you. i hope you get the weather to enjoy it.
I was with Jason and Bill last year to have my leccy roof sorted. Really are top blokes who know thier stuff. I came all the way from southern Ireland, I couldn't find anyone in Irl with thier expertise. Couldn't recommend them enough..

Thanks guys. The hoods not 100% finished. The arm is bent and needs replacing. I was told the motors are fine.

So hopefully ill make another trip to Darleston in the next few weeks.
I hope the weather gets better, so i can make the most of the car

Thanks mate. I always wanted to keep the car standard. So no cutting corners. Nice to know there are other motorsports on here. My brother has a calypso red currenty getting it painted by the same guy who done mine. It a 325i non Motorsport though. Im east side of london. Ill be at the East London meet. Are you up for it?
