Haven't put any pics up for ages so here we go!

Took me over a year to find this sport, i wanted one in silver and with genuine low mileage. Travelled over 500 miles in a round trip to collect. Looked at so many rough ones at first till i brought this one.

Sold my convertible last week and i am considering selling this one soon as i want an e30 M3. What price tag should i put on the car?

Its got 88,000 miles with every MOT to prove mileage and no rust anywhere on the bodywork as you can see by the pics.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

Cheers j-boy.

i know i will never find one in the same condition ever again! i might have to sling the idea of a e30 m3 and just keep hold on to this one, as i reckon they will be become very rare soon.

how comes the tech 2's go for more money compared to the tech 1's? i would have thought the tech 1's would be rarer, and in my opinion they look the best (thats just my opinion though!)

cheers for the comments at present, more comments would be appreciated.

cheers j-boy :D

your thoughts on keeping the car may well be correct these are rarer, faster and better looking than the later cars(much cleaner lines) if you can't get 3500+ for it i wouldn't sell it. as for why the second generation sports are more money its a question of taste or the lack of it.

Rust has a greater association with tech 1 than tech 2. If I had the cash, I'd snap your hand off for that tech 1 rightness. Dechromed too. Proper job!

"better looking than the later cars" "as for why the second generation sports are more money its a question of taste or the lack of it"

What a stupid comment. Please don't post things like that. So a mint tech 2 sport should go for what £1500 ono??

i think we all should respect tech 1 and 2 sports as the same, as they are all made by BMW at the end of the day!

cracking machines that we all love!

cheers j-boy :D

I agree j-boy. The're one of the best E30's produced. I've nothing against tech 1's or any other e30, but when people post comments like that it gets me wound up.

Great looking car. There becoming much harder to find in that condition. The interior looks very tidy too, although it should be for 80k!
What's the paint-work like??

As for a price I'm not too sure, but don't sell in a hurry. It's a shame you're selling up. If you don't mind me asking you've obviously spent time sourcing this tech 1, why change now for an M3?
