that looks very very nice! nice spec too with 4x electric windows, sport leather seats and the dog guard
what are the two switches next to the handbrake for?
it is a shame we didn't get the ix over here
if it was mine, all i would do is pain the chrome kidney grilles black and change the steering wheel (and put the handbrake on so it didn't roll away!!!!!!!)

By having it in gear, its like a 4wd handbrake
Looks like a nice example. smoked headlights look good too.

It`s 320i -90, but i change m21d24 td engine with cooler, Master Power turbo and self made exhaust. Injection pump is Bmw original ve, but i change Cummins 5.9 12mm distributor head. With smaller turbo and stock pump it gave 180hp and 360nm with 1,3bar boost. Now we aim 260-300hv.

good effort btw, looks neat and tidy.

it gets better!!!!
i am very interested in the idea of a powerful diesel E30 for a laugh! if i was doing it i would start with a M51 diesel engine as in the UK we didn't get the M21 powered 324d

. another E34 would have to die for me to get the engine but it's a price i'd be happy to pay! i've already killed a E32 735i for the M30 engine in my 335i touring so it's the next step downwards!

I'm also interested in the diesel. My old man is intent on building a semi powerful diesel track car at some point in the future. More to annoy some petty cars I think

That turbo is fairly large. Jeemu am I right in thinking diesels run at a lot more boost than petrols(like 15psi or 1 bar ++++)?

I use previous car (same engine) 1,3-1,7 bar. This car i use 2bar or maybe more

. I think this turbo is good at 300hv maybe little more in diesel engine.

300hv is that 300hp(power?)

Thank´s. Yes hv=hp. I change the cooler little bigger today. That´s factory made, previous was self made. I don´t believe that stock cylinder head this engine can give 300hp with reasonable boost. Modifield cylinder head come next winter.

jeemu, great pics and info! I am thinking of ways to improve the power of my 324td m21 engine, stock at the moment; jumping from 115 to 180 hp seems like a very big improvement to me, if you have the time good you give us more information about how you did it and what it meant for your diesel consumption?
I'll pick up my stock touring (with heated seats and beige leather sports interior...) at the paint shop today, will post some pictures too one of these days.
bye, pedro (netherlands)
