Newbie (with project)

Hi there, just thought I'd introduce myself and post some pictures of my "project."

This car will be, over the next few months, restored to its former glory so I'll be lurking around the for sale section if anyone wants me!

The car is a diamond black 2-door 325i SE with the Sport options ordered from the factory, LSD Mtech two sport leather etc (I checked the spec from the chassis number at work!)

(I know some might say it isn't a true Sport, but how many are? I think many were ordered in this way to get different/better specs ie best of both worlds!)

This is bulkhead behind servo

This is where the water is sat on the floor next to the chassis rail

And this is the resulting moss, about 3inches tall but the picture doesn't show it (passenger footwell)

WOW!

I have to say - you are one brave fella taking that one on.....but fair play for doing so!

Nice to see another E30 saved when 99% of people would have fragged it/weighed it in.... 8O

Best of luck with it and I look forward to seeing the restoration updates.

Bruce.

It was probably just a stone chip that got over looked!

Car hasn't turned a wheel for 4 years (I think thats when tax ran out!)

I was contemplating bmwe30mtech's 318is and just swap motors but that sold too quick!!

Haven't checked underneath yet or inside of arches to see how much tin worm there is, it just won't stop bloody raining up here!

tbh its the father in-law's so i'm gonna need the results, especially as I'm quite attached to my manhood lol!

I've tried to persuade him to let me find one that doesn't need as much work but he says it has to be THIS car, trouble is, rust doesn't give a flying crap about sentimental value!!
