E30 Zone

Not long ago bought a red 4 door 316i, for 40 quid, the body work was crap, the interior wasn't too good either, but the engine was all good, was thinking about tidying it up and keeping it, The day after it was delivered onto my driveway, i found a metallic black, 2 door 318i, in alot better condition, but the engine was blown, he said he was going to scrap it, i couldn't have that so i bought it for 50 quid, came with an m-tec 1 spoiler and steering wheel, so i dropped the engine out of the 4 door, cleaned it up, and put it in 2 door, only need a few more things sorting then i will get it road legal, just chasing some corss spokes now...

nah.. keeping lip spolier, have some side skirts for it, i think they are m-tech 1, just got some new clips for front splitter, only got 4 left out of 10 , will paint splitter matt black, colour code mirrors, just ordered a sun strip for it saying Bayerische Motoren Werke, on a black background with metallic silver writing, its been lowered 60mm i might have a go at smoking the back lights too, but leaving the reverse lights un smoked...

bought the 4 door off the milkman, i was 2nd owner... bought 2 door off a friend of a friend.. plus i hang about with a few E30 lads and get some bits off them..

here is a pic of my spoiler been told its a M-Tech 1, and apparently the side skirts are M-Tech 1 aswell,
still after some cross spokes too

just started to get some other bits done now, painted oil cooler vent blank matt black, and am just prepping splitter for the same treatment got my M-Technic stickers from Sytners, saving up to send car off for wiring to be done now.. (at bloody last)

mate poped into series 9 afew days ago to see adam and saw your car there..this car is very clean for the money you payed for it..if you come across another blackone 2door for the same money let me know mate..and not forgetting hurry up and bring your car out mate and join in on sundays...

been tinkering until it goes for wiring to be done.. progress so far....

nah, didnt dye parcel shelf, spray painted it with left overs from doing splitter.. looks good tho.. just Tech'd up my gear stick too.. forgot to get pic tho..

Did you get the BBS with black inserts - or DIY job.

got the BBS's from a mate who did the D.I.Y, got my fog lights working, got a few more bits, and a replica Tech-2 rear bumper.. not too sure about it tho, so might flog it.. also.. She actually runs now, so will be having a little fun trying to get her MOT ready..

Gave her a much needed wash, and moved her nearer to the door to get some fresh air

neon is off now, and wings are covered for now untill new ones arrive, (waiting on Daz aka fido from euro car parts) toff for MOT tomorrow.. im buzzing.. hoping its not much it will need, and just booked theory.. should hopefully be on road by xmas
