nice to see a different looking car and I like 4 doors but I don't think the M badge goes with the alpina theme.

That's the only 'hearing aid beige' E30 I've seen which hasn't offended me, it's quite nice! I'd try and get a set of 16" Alpinas for it though.

Cheers lads, i want alpina wheels but i ran out of money, they £1100 a set, without tyres. but one day, probly when these tyres are worn out.
The cars just clocked 163,000 miles and she still runs smooth, aircon still cold and im really enjoying driving it about, its my first e30. there very addictive arent they?
ive had it a few months, no major work but it was stood for 2 years, so i changed the cambelt, give it full service, then the fuel pump gave up.
Parts backup is good for an old car, all parts from dealer next day or in stock, alpina parts only took 2 weeks.

Im now looking for excusses to go for a drive and i allways take the long twisty route! :D

PS, even the drivers seat is perfect, my old capri's Recaro was suffering after 60,000 carefull miles.

Jimson,

How's it going fella??

The cars looking spot on tbh, see you down Tavistock St a couple of weeks ago...just cruising along!!

That steering wheel is lush bud, brand new too!!

I think some skirts and those all important Alpinas will just take it to another level...Are the wheels the proper nogaro silver jobbies??

Oh by the way, is Rob back working at Elms??

Pal

That looks Very nice. Something different about it to other four doors.

Id get a set of 16" pinas, get rid of the M badge and colour code the bumpers. But then again those BBS are reeeealllly nice!

Have removed the M grille badge this morning.
will get bumpers painted when car has next tidy up, (probly a year or two yet) as have not lot of money

What to do next, A. carbon airbox, scorpion exhaust, big throttle body and a chip.

im not gonna change wheels yet as i have 4 new tyres on.
is anyone selling any alpina type wheels, need cheep as poss, not worried bout tyres and dont mind refurbing, if i do it like this it will spread the cost out, ya see.

Couple of questions, have you got a 325 with any or all of these mods? whats the difference to performance/sound.

If i fit 17" pina reps, will arches need rolling, car is std M sport, i dont plan on lowering it any more. any advice welcomed? cheers

Carbon box :? :? Not a full airbox. Just a airfilter.

Never seen one for M20.

Get proper alpinas! That's what this car deserves.

I was looking at the BMC industion kit, but photo not very big?
dont wanna spend £200 on it if just air filter, the ITG one is only 109 i think. cheers.

It only replaces the air filter.

But it is a good air filter.

If you want a proper C/F airbox, buy a real engine :D

:? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

im quite sure he has a real engine in there. and as he says he aint got a fortune to spend. not everyone can look at your old mans m3 then decide that they are also gonna spend 20k making theirs look mint

as above good to hear m badges are off, do try and save for genuine pinas intead of reps 8)

i have an m3 and to make mint would cost one hell of a lot less than 20k.

but its all down to taste myself i wouldnt have aftermerket wheels and funky interior or even the smoked rear lights, but hey, each to their own :)

If were talking minty mint.

Full respray.
Interior,
Engine rebuild.
Susp rebuild.

Believe me it all adds up.

The world would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

Sorry for going off topic

Got another idea. has any one got a turbo kit for m20, could run it at very low boost for now, then when the engine lets go, rebuild to suit and turn the boost back up?
Im quite happy with the cars preformance, i just want a turbo whine when i put my foot down, any ideas?

I have the reverse to your car. A 4 door c2.5 Alpina, though the only cosmetic identifier is the wood gear stick and green sticker. It's been robbed of wheels, steering wheel and front valence. Good to see what mine will look like in years to come.

Don't get side skirts and rear valence, I like the 80's style Alpina gave these cars.

They were robbed, what a bastard. some parts are stil available but most dealers dont know how to look up the weird part numbers in their system so they show up not listed. i can check up if you want to know prices, What year is your alp mate?

1989.

I'm not in a position to do too much to rectify it for a few months yet. More important things to chase first.

An Idea of valence, steering wheel and badges would be cool. Though I think badges are silly money....

steering wheel £250
gear knob £42
boot spoiler £212
front spoiler £234
alloy 'alpina' for bootlid £29
black 'alpina' sticker like on my front spoiler is £2.58
stripe kit £170
a set of wheels 7" front 8" rear is £1400 ish!
These are retail without VAT, they usually give you a fair discount if you get it all at once, it took about 2-3 weeks for my bits to come.
model designation badges, eg C2/B6 are not avai from dealer now, but there is a specialist about selling them!

maybe you should buy my car!!!
