took my hardtop off ovaer the weekend, so got a few snaps.
its only a 318i as i bought it when i was 19, but have done lots of work to it.
318i design convertible in Neon green. ( only 25 made as im told)
Engine: 1800cc, scorpion half system exhaust
Suspension: lowered 35/35 on full spax kit, m3 replica wheels (dont like)
Body: Full mtech 2 kit, is spoiler, Hardtop, 34% tints all round
Interior: full cream leather retrim with green piping,
plenty of security.
The screens have all just been fitted and wired up.
I will be soon replacing the wheels, getting angel eyes, clear indicators,
and 2.5 engine. woohoo.
thanks for looking

Thats really smart mate:D Looks so clean, I agree with you about changing the wheels;) Never was a fan of the motorsport alloys on an E30. Other than that, hot!

cheers guys for comments.
placey - i did like wheels at first as they come with the car, but am now bored of them, and also think alpinas or azevs would look smart.
and i know alpinas have been done to death, but they do look good.

Nice car mate. Love the colour. Haven't seen a Mtec kitted up BMin that colour before. I think the wheels look good too.

stunning absolutely stunning.
dunno that i cud live with the colour myself but fair play its lush
just about the only thing i can see to do is to those cables from the headrest screens, id run them inside the back of the seats to the floor as opposed to hanging free.
is it just me or do motorsport wheels suit an e30 far more than the e36 ???

tank you all guys.
i do like the wheels but am now bored of them. i would like a change.
the engine will probably sooner than the wheels due to cash flow. the screens are all wired up now. the wire runs down the back of the seat out and under the carpet, and i done most of it myself.
the re trim cost me around Ԛ£1800, which im very pleased with. the guy who done its based in east london.
again cheers for the comments guys, it makes it all worth it

I've seen the car and it's quality, some nice refurbed rims will make it hard to beat for condition! The colour makes it so unique, I prefer the neon blue, but the green does look very nice too

nav i popd out for a couple of minutes so it wernt in, never have it in all the time unless im out with the boys on a night out. im very paranoid about the car plus with an expensive system - any one can cut the rag top and help them selves, even with my fort knox security!!
next time we link il show u my sounds

Nav, thats a awsome car mate, u sound alot like me, i have a design 318 cab but ive got the neon blue one, bought it when i was 18 (insurance) did have tvs in the headrests till some scum nicked them, going to get new ones after i put my 2.5 in
Did your car come with the kit or did u have it put on? im so jealous lol!!
Posted: Wed Apr 20, 2005 9:51 pm
by nav786
neon blue is so cool. my cousins got one with the kit on and it looks

. hopefully i'll soon be dropping the 2.5 in, but unsure at the moment as am looking at options for more power.
I had to get the kit fitted mate. this is where most the money went really, as front and back are brand new bumpers from $tealers.
get some pics of urs up dude.
