Looks great, I really like it - has a great spec if I remember correctly? If I could find a clean sport like that I would have it in a flash.

BTW - 15" BBS are soooo much better than Alpina rep tat!

Not so much the front ones, but the rears definately stand out by a mile.

Nice looking motor mate, hope to have one a bit like this soon winkeye

i think the front wheels look less shiny cos theyre facing thr camera head on so not as much reflection.

Theo325-"BTW - 15" BBS are soooo much better than Alpina rep tat!" it drives alot better on them aswell. the tyres are at least 5 years old now(but clearly alot older) so the car is fooking lethal at the moment but the ride is soooooo much smoother.
Theo325-"has a great spec if I remember correctly?" has no luxuries really- manual everything. but it does go like a BLEEP. I can stick with my mates e46M3 when hes got a couple off passengers up to 120mph

Oakey, thats a clean tech1 there, It looks much better with those BBS rims than the Aplina's .

It really sets the old skool look off..

a word of warning keeping those rim Lips clean, they can be a nightmare in these winter months,

(but a good cleaning tip would be spray WD40 on the lip part after cleaning and wipe off, this way it put a clear film of oil on the wheels and then nothing with dry on or go hard like road salts or brake dust, and by the time you clean them again the dirt will just wash off with soap and water)

The tech 1's live on
Keep it real, keep it BMW

mine were diamond cut/polished and left bare!!!2 days of salt started pitting ...so everytime i used after that i cleaned them...wd40 wont stop it either....try polishing with BELGOM ALU....works a treat..

half painted, half rubbery type stuff!!!

they look better than the tech2 spoilers, but IMO, i wouldn't have a spoiler at all...

not really. i enjoy that sort of thing though. the previous owner had sprayed it before so it required alot of sanding down.
give all the pieces a good clean,
sand it down with roughish sandpaper- i used 200 wet and dry
then sprayed with a few coats of primer
sand back to a smooth surface with 600 wet and dry
then spray a few coats of matt black paint
and finally some clear lacquer.
took about and hour excluding drying time
