Hi all, my first post here

I've had my 316i for 4 years now. I still love it to bits (even if it is darned slow ;)) Had quite a few mechanics tell me how clean it is underneath with no rust at all. They all seem somewhat surprised.
I'm hopefully going to look at a black J-plate 325i se on Wednesday. It's gonna have to be very good as I love my car, being as it's my first one
btw with the numberplate's gotta come with me ;)

You might tell me to shut up, but if you love the car and your going to keep the number plate why not put a 2.5 lump in it? then you would have the best of both worlds a car you love with the all important bit of power

Aaah if only I had the money and know-how. Alas, when it comes to things of a technical nature I'm totally stumped

Unless you want to pop down and help me ;)
Seriously though. I think I'm gonna keep her for another year. Cambelt , all other belts and ICV was done last year (only 3000 miles ago!), just had the clutch master cylinder done and 5 new tyres to replace the 4 year old dirt cheap ones. She's running absolutely great now. Just need to get that airflow meter looked at and the seats are starting to look pretty tatty (read the drivers seat has tape on it to hold the material together!

)
I was actually in 2 minds whether to do some minor modifying externally after the mechanical stuff was finished. I have every intention of getting another e30 in the future so I could possibly take any bits I get with me.
The problem is, I keep seeing all these gorgeous looking sports models on this forum and I'm seriously getting a case of the green-eyed monster
