I've never bothered with this car, but seeing as it will be getting fragged and written off soon and was a very reliable car for me i thought i'd give it a super clean before the insurance man comes out to offer me £10 for it.

Gotta be worth £500, what do you reckon?

Now stare in awe at the wealth of factory options!

Heres the day i bought it, come along way since!

This car was mega spec when new!

SE base car, so e/w's all round,e/s,12 button obc, rear blind, 15bbs, front fogs, bla bla bla

on top of that it had fitted

switchable auto box
3.64 LSD
sport seats
cruise control
air con
heated seats
heated door locks,wing mirror,washer jets

i coolour coded the bumpers and wing mirrors and fitted a tech 1 wheel to add to spice it up a bit. Plus a full scorpion council system

it only managed 151,000 miles shame, had 2 titled owners first a Doctor and some esquire pillock then i bought it off a double glazier muppet for £300 and it was in a bit of a state

have they valued it yet??

if they have then surely, take as much off as you can,, i done that with a mk4 polo, took little bits here and there,,,

swap the wheels over for some ultra shite bottletops or something, diff swap? get the obc out and put a clock in there? just raid it!!

i've sold the diff to Kos about a year ago!

i've taken the rear blind.

The only things i'm after are the heated seats stuff and the cruise control. I'm going to retain the salvage so i can strip it keep my bits and sell whats left off it and weigh it in. Don't worry the scrap man won't be getting much!

They won't be taking it anywhere, i'm hoping with it nice and clean the insurance man will value it a bit better than he would if it was all minging like it was!

No offense but it surely cant be worth 500, looking at the rust and dings on the bodywork. And im guessing insurance people undervalue cars anyway :( . Or is there not just a 'book value' for a car of a certain make model and age?

Kos still has it stuart, it was mint no rust on the casing and i doubt it had ever been locked up in anger!

it's only that door that is bad, this car is solid! jacking points are 100% rot free as are the sills, scuttle, arches. It was a very, very solid E30. It had lived it's whole life down my area and it shows!
