E30 Zone

Gotta admit I am a bit peeved that my recent post of pics of my m5 was locked with the comment "this aint the m5zone".

Firstly I dont think anywhere on the site does it say e30 owners only & nowhere on the "before you post" bit does its say e30 pics only,also there is a thread re cosworth conversions inc what looks like a bloody starion (not even a bmw) which I note hasnt been locked.

I think I share the same enthusiasm for e30's as everyone else ;its just I own an e34 as my kids wont fit in the back of an e30.

Also the e34 is probably the nearest car bmw made to the e34 sharing the same basic shape,the s38 is just a 6 cylinder version of the s14 & the cars share many parts.

Personally I think its a bit petty & restrictive to lock my thread & certainly other members seemed interested in my car so I dont think you can safely say that its inclusion is inappropriate & if you lock my thread I believe for the sake of consistency you should lock other threads discussing non e30's.

thats my piece said-I am off to visit the bmw5 site where e30 owners are more than welcome (& any other car for that matter) are welcome to post pics & discuss any other car they goddamn feel like !

I have a bit of a penchant for e34's and your's looks sweet from your sig... Can't you park next to an e30 and take a few piccies...?

Have a e34 myself altho only a pitaful m50 2.5i (with cracked head) would love to see some m5 pics mate, post it in other bmw chat

+ if you get to talk to some of the people on here you'll find alot are nice to chat with, just don't right us all off because of 1 person

Its a bit childish & I feel a bit of a tw*t to be honest-apologies if I offended anyone-obviously it is an e30 site-I guess I am just proud of my car.

BTW-I am trying to organise a rolling road meet at Bexleys iff you are interested ? Havent set a date yet-trying to find out if I can drum up enough interest.

post your pics up on the section Other BMW chat, shouldnt expect it to get locked, there's a few people on there that do it.

all you need to do is post in the correct section.even this thread is in the wrong section.i think your refering to my toyota celica that i converted to cosworth in your post and im sure i posted it in the 'pub talk' section which is why it wouldnt have been locked
